Classic Glitch Effects
The classic glitch category includes Channel Shift (RGB channel offset with wave modulation), Block Displace (block-based displacement), and Pixel Sort (sorting pixels by brightness, hue, or saturation). These effects bring analog-style digital corruption to any footage with fine-tuned parameter controls.
AI-Powered Vision Effects
DaringFX uses AI subject detection to isolate people and objects in video, enabling effects like BG Blur, BG Replace, BG Duotone, and BG Glitch that apply only to the background while preserving the subject. Additional vision effects include Object Pixelate for auto-censoring detected objects and People Outline for neon contour effects around detected people.
Gyroscope-Driven Effects
A unique category that maps real gyroscope telemetry data to effect parameters. Gyro Shake adds authentic camera shake from actual flight or motion data. Gyro Displace, Gyro Chroma, Gyro Block Glitch, and Gyro Time Remap all use gyroscope intensity to drive displacement, chromatic aberration, glitch severity, and speed ramping respectively.
Temporal & Transition Effects
The temporal category features Datamosh (I-frame removal for that classic pixel-smearing look) and I-Frame Bloom (bloom and glow from compression boundaries). Transition effects include Byte Shift Transition and I-Frame Bloom Transition for glitch-style cuts between clips.
