Pucks4Bucks.
Pro-bono fundraiser site.
Pucks4Bucks is a fundraiser run with the Indy Fuel hockey team. Ticket revenue goes to the DEFA Funds, which pay for transportation for people living with HIV (rides to medical appointments, the pharmacy, daily errands). I built the marketing site pro bono in Statamic and handed off ticketing to Eventbrite so the organizers could manage attendees without me being in the loop on every sale.
Indy Fuel
The event is a partnership between the Indy Fuel hockey team and Almost4Minds. The site explains what the fundraiser is, who it benefits, and where to buy tickets. Tickets push through to Eventbrite, which handles the payment, the seat-count cap, and the confirmation emails.
Successful Event Management with Eventbrite Integration
I set up the Eventbrite event, configured the ticket tiers and capacity, and connected payment processing. The buy-tickets buttons on the marketing site deep-link directly into Eventbrite checkout, so the organizers got a single dashboard for sales and attendees without me having to build a checkout from scratch. Tickets sold out, which was the goal.
Impactful Pro-Bono Site Powered By Statamic
Statamic was the right call for a pro-bono build. Flat-file content meant no database to manage and no monthly hosting tier to justify to the client. The whole site is a handful of pages: who, what, when, and a ticket button. Statamic kept the build small and the site fast without any of the WordPress plugin overhead I'd otherwise inherit on a project like this.
